The Role
This is a mid-level position for a semi-qualified professional (CA Inter cleared) with at least 6 years of experience in taxation. - Advising clients on tax-efficient structures, capital gains planning, and year-end compliance strategy
- Running GST compliance across the full cycle, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, reconciliations, and ITC optimization
- Handling GST assessments, departmental audits, and responding to show-cause notices
- Reviewing work prepared by juniors and article trainees, and flagging issues before they reach the partner
- Speaking with clients directly, fielding queries, setting timelines, and keeping relationships running smoothly
Who Should Apply

- At least 6 years of experience in a CA firm or professional practice, with a concentration in income tax and GST
- Thorough working knowledge of the Income Tax Act, GST law, and related procedures
- Experienced with e-filing portals (Income Tax, GST, TDS/TCS), Tally, and Excel at an advanced level
- Able to manage a client portfolio with limited supervision
- Good communication skills, as this is a client-facing role
What You Can Expect Here
You will own your client relationships and deliverables. The work covers enough variety, across entity types and sectors, that it does not become repetitive. As the firm grows, this role has a natural progression into team leadership and practice management. We keep the team updated on changes in tax law, portal procedures, and advisory approaches, because stale knowledge costs clients money.
